Estimated time:
thawing time for dough (see package directions)

15 min. to shape

1-1 1/2 hr. to rise

20-25 min. to bake

Number of servings:
8-10 per loaf of bread dough

Ingredients: (Hit your return key to start a new line)
loaf or loaves of frozen bread dough

garlic powder, herb mixtures, dried parmesan cheese, as desired

melted butter

bit of Crisco or cooking/baking spray

Directions:
Thaw the dough in the fridge (as directed on the package) until soft enough to knead.

Twist off 8-10 equal portions from each loaf of dough. Knead/roll/shape into cigar-sized pieces. Place bread sticks on lightly greased cookie sheet, about 3 inches apart.

Allow the breadsticks to rise in a warm place until Doubled (about 1-1 1/2 hrs.).

Brush breadsticks with melted butter; sprinkle with seasonings as desired.

*Bake at 375 degrees F. for approx. 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown. Serve warm, or cold; use within a day or 2.

Other suggestions and comments:
*when I made these in the toaster oven, I set it at 350 degrees, and baked 'em for about 15 minutes (they were soft n' chewy). Toaster ovens always seem to need some adjustments. ;-) Still, it doesn't hurt to Peek at the breadsticks after about 15 min.

Warm Pizza Sauce is good for dipping!
