Pie Dough

Sugar
Cinnamon

Directions:
Roll pie dough out very thin.
Spread butter on dough.
Top with cinnamon and sugar.
Roll it up, slice off 1 inch pieces, and place the pieces cut side up (like tiny cinnamon rolls) in a baking dish.
Bake at 375 degrees for about 15 minutes (till crust is golden, but not burned).
Let them cool slightly...they're best served warm.

Other suggestions and comments:
My mother made these with me using extra pie dough. We called them bellybuttons. I've seen them in a bakery with a different name, but I can't remember what they were called.
It's a great way to use up extra dough...and they're a tasty snack.
We never used a recipe when making bellybuttons...you can experiment with the amounts of sugar, cinnamon and butter...to suit your taste.
Enjoy!
