Which of the following categories best describes this recipe:
Beverages

Estimated time:
15-20 min

Number of servings:
up to 30

Ingredients: (Hit your return key to start a new line)
4-5 tsp. whole cloves

4 large cinnamon sticks, broken in pieces

9 c. cranberry juice cocktail

9 c. unsweetened pineapple juice

1 c. brown sugar

4 1/2 c. water

*1/2 tsp salt (optional)

Directions:
Place spices in top/basket of Large percolator.

Add other items to the inside of the percolator, and percolate!

*Sample the 'brew' and decide if the salt's needed, or not. If you add it, Stir Well, or "perc" awhile longer.

Other suggestions and comments:
If you don't have a percolator, you could use a Very Large soup/stock pot, and simmer on the stovetop.

It would also work in an electric "crockpot" (stoneware cooker), but most max out at 4-5 quarts. Stick to the 2:1 ratio of juices to water, and sweeten to taste. In fact, you can also make your punch Pretty when it will be served from the pot; slice an orange or lemon, stud slices w/cloves, and 'float' them on top of the brew! Cheers!
