Spiced Walnuts

Which of the following categories best describes this recipe:
Appetizers

Estimated time:
1 c. sugar

1/2 tsp. salt

2 tsp. ground cinnamon

1/2 tsp. ground nutmeg

1/4 tsp. ground cloves

2 c. walnut halves

Directions:
Combine all ingredients, (except the walnuts) plus 1/2 c. water, in medium saucepan. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until sugar is dissolved.

Continue cooking to 238 degrees (w/candy thermometer). Remove from heat and add walnuts.

Stir gently until the mixture becomes Creamy. Turn onto waxed paper, separate the nuts, and let dry.
