3 Star Costume Rating

What age group is this costume for?
Preschool and Younger
Elementary School
Middle School
High School & Beyond

Estimated time required to make this costume:
15 minutes

Difficulty level:
Quick and easy - no sewing required

Items you will need: (Hit your return key to start a new line)
Two sheets of cardboard (the larger the body the larger the cardboard), preferably yellow

Yellow construction paper (to cover the cardboard if it is not yellow)

Glue

Gold ribbon or string to hang the cardboard on your shoulders

Gold glitter

Paper punch

Anything gold and shiny that you would like to wear

Instructions:
1. Cut two identical, large star shapes from the cardboard. If the cardboard is not yellow, either paint it or glue on the yellow construction paper.

2. Punch two holes on the top corners of the stars.
Connect the stars with the gold ribbon so that one star hangs in the front and one hangs in the back.

3. Decorate the stars with glitter or anything else you want to use.

Other information to consider:
When I used this costume, I wore a pale yellow shirt and khaki shorts underneath. I also put my hair up in pigtails and tied them with shiny gold christmas tree decorations. I finished off the look with a small yellow mask and body glitter.
