Description of gift:
Let your dad know how much you love him in a sonnet!

Materials:
Pencil
Paper
Markers
Glitter
Oak tag

Instructions:
1. Sit with your child and make a list all of the things that are great about Dad.
2. Help your child (if they need it) to organize thoughts and ideas to flow rhythmically.
3. Decide on powerful words that describe the sentiments and other words that rhyme with them.
4. Have your child create a story to describe feelings and emotion.
5. Once the poem is created, transfer the words on to special paper with a pencil.
6. Trace words with a marker.
7. Make a design for a border using markers, glitter, fabric etc.
8. Mount finished piece onto oak tag.
