Estimated time:
1 1/2 hours (not including refrigeration time)

Number of servings:
5-8 dozen (depends on size)

Ingredients: (Hit your return key to start a new line)
1 cup butter (softened)
1 1/2 cup sugar
2 teaspoon vanilla
2 eggs
3 cup flour
2 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt

Directions:
Beat butter, sugar, vanilla, and eggs until light and fluffy. Stir in flour, baking powder, and salt. Refrigerate 1-2 hours. Roll out and cut out (does great with mini cookie cutters, just reduce cooking time). Bake at 400 degrees for 5-8 minutes.

Other suggestions and comments:
I don't frost my cookies, before putting them in the oven I sprinkle a little colored sugar to make them look festive.
