When Family Education Network began offering MySchoolOnline as a website building and hosting solution for educators in 1997, there were few places a teacher could go to create a website without learning a programming language. Today, many more schools and service providers are offering free or low-cost opportunities for easily creating a school website. Therefore, after nearly nine years of providing website building and hosting solutions tools for the education community, MySchoolOnline will be closing on June 30, 2007.

Effective immediately, MySchoolOnline is no longer offering new free trial accounts. As of April 30, 2006, no subscriptions or renewals will be accepted. If you are a MySchoolOnline customer, know that all current subscriptions will be honored, as follows:

• Paid Subscribers: If you have a paid subscription as of April 30, 2006, your website will be available as usual until June 30, 2007, instead of your scheduled expiration date.
  
  
• Free Trial Subscribers: If you're currently evaluating a free trial account, you have until April 29, 2006 to subscribe. If you do choose to subscribe for a website during MySchoolOnline's last year, your subscription will end June 30, 2007, instead of the typical one-year subscription.
