Here are some tips to boost your child's self-esteem.

  1. Don't overreact! Count to ten.
  2. Be good to yourself -- get a hobby.
  3. Catch your child being good.
  4. Assign your child special jobs like feeding the family pet.
  5. Enroll your child in extracurricular activities.
