We actually do multiply fractions quite frequently in "real life." Like when, you ask? Well, you might need to change a recipe amount ... or maybe you need to measure for a home improvement project. Fraction multiplication is a handy skill to have. Just remember, multiplying a whole number by a fraction is the same as dividing that number by the denominator of the fraction and then multiplying by the numerator. (What?...Okay, it's another one of those easier-done-than-said things in math.)
