Make a Snake

Materials

  1. Paper plate
  2. Crayons or markers
  3. Scissors
  4. Red yarn or construction paper
  5. Glue

Directions

Using crayons or markers, completely cover both sides of the paper plate with colorful designs stripes, circles, zigzags, and lines, for example. Starting at the outer edge, cut the plate into a spiral until the center is reached. This small, center circle will become the snake shead. On the head, draw eyes and then glue on a small strip of red paper (or use the yarn) to make a tongue. Hold on to the snake's head and the snake's body will uncoil.
