Cylinder City
Build an entire city from cardboard and glue. It's a snap with these simple instructions.

Materials
- Plywood or strong cardboard
- Paper cylinders all sizes
- Paints and paint brushes
- Scissors
- Masking tape or glue
Directions
You are creating a city of cylinders standing upright like skyscrapers. Cut some of the cylinders in half, thirds, and fourths to increase the range of sizes and shapes of the cylinder collection. Paint or decorate the cylinders before attaching them to the cardboard. Dip one end of each cylinder in glue and set on the cardboard or plywood. Hold until the cylinder is stable, or use masking tape to tape the cylinders upright. Your child should make all the decisions about where each cylinder should be placed. Allow all the cylinders to dry. Give your city a name, state, and zip code.
