How DoYou Cope On Your Own When You Are Poorly?

I am a single mum to a very active 3 year old girl and unfortuantly I am poorly with Bells Palsy. I just wanted to know what ways you cope with you child or children when you are ill. I am finding it very hard at the moment and everything is irritating me. It has been made worse by the fact it is school holidays. If any one has any tips then please let me know.

I'm very sorry you are ill. I understand I'm a single mom to a 7 year old boy. The difference is we live with my mother. I have Lupus, Fibromyalgia & a very bad back. Sometimes I'm so sick I literally can't get out of bed so I know how you feel. You really need to try and get a support system. Maybe a family member or friend can help you on days when you feel really bad. Trust me sometimes I just sit and cry because I feel I'm not being a very good mother. I can't play with my son the way a father would or sometimes I can't play with him at all. It's terrible that our kids have to suffer because we are sick. They didn't ask for it. But you know what I'm very close to my son and he knows Ilove him more then anything and that's what is really important. As your daughter gets older she will understand too. Just do the best you can that's all you can do. I hope it helps just to know someone understands and I feel your pain. Hang in there and try to find someone who can help you.
