Son's Computer Use?

How can I check my son's computer use when I am at work, he has just turned 15 and is around a new group of friends and I am quite worried what he is doing. I heard from my sister that there is a way I can see what he is doing on his computer without having to watch him by logging what he does. Does anyone know how to do this?

I ended up using yoshistr keylogger after looking around a bit and so far so good, I am looking through the pictures of what my daughter is viewing and she seems to be in the limits of what I allow her to do. I will continue to watch her and hope she is smart enough not to do anything that will give me a heart attack.

I feel it’s very difficult to limit the amount of time your kids spend on the computer but on implementing certain strategies for tracking the computer use can be a great help. There is Windows Vista has parental controls and allow you to set when a child can use the computer. Use of commercially available Internet filtering and parental control software programs are great help too as it block sites by name, search for unacceptable words and block access to sites containing those words, block entire categories of material, and prevent children from giving out personal information.

Even if you track your son's computer use and reprimand him if you find something unacceptable, you cannot restrict his other activities. Like visiting his friends' place, access to mobile phones and other gadgets. Therefore, it is necessary that you make your son understand that he should stay away from what is not good for him.
