desperately needing advice

Some one please help, I don't know what to do. So a little back story.
My daughter Amy is 16 yrs old. I have been a single Parent for most of her life, with her dad getting every other weekend visitation (Btw her father and I are on a hate/hate basis with no communication).
When she was around 13,(after years of begging and growing tension over the subject) I let her go to live with her dad.
I began receiving every other weekend visitations. She began making plans with her friends at her dads house, and would want to skip our weekend sometimes. I would allow it, after all she is 16 with friends and a boyfriend.
well eventually it got to where I would only see her once a month or so, I told her this cant go on any more that we need to go back to every other weekend. She did not like this, saying she had plans with friends and didn't want to come over.
Before this really got resolved(In august)I had to move out of state for a job.
I now live about six hours away. I am unable to visit every other weekend, but I do try to come once a month or so. Well every time I come into town she has plans. Sometimes she tells me that she will come and stay the weekend with me, but then at the last minute changes her mind. I have tried to play the "parenting card" but it is pretty much impossible living out of state to make her visit me.
So here's my question.
I have filed a custody modification through the courts so that I may have her for the summer. She is very upset about this and making tons of excuses about her friends, and this and that. I can tell most of them are lies and that she simply doesn't want to be away from her friends and boyfriend for a weekend, much less a whole summer. What should I do?
should I stick with my court date in Dec. and see if the judge "forces" her to stay with me during the summer? or should I just realize that friends are the most important things to a teenage and drop the court date and let her be.
I hate that she doesn't want to visit , but I also understand how important friends are in this stage of her life. I don't want to regret forcing her to come, but I also don't want to give up on her.
Please help.
