Daughters that want control

I have a daughter whom is the oldest of six children and she was my parents favorit and they let her know it! She removed my dad from a senior home in 2004 and took him to live with her not telling anyone gave away his belongings and emptied his bank account and took his car. He passed away in 2007 and she never let me know he had died. I am the only child and she has always wanted to have my life. I found out in 2009 on New Years weekend and could not beleive she would do such a thing to me. My father was very sick with Dementia and Alzheimer's and would call my daughter by my name so he really did not know what was going on and I did know she would not hurt him.
Now that my father is gone and she is out of money she has lost her house and filled bankrupcy they lost dad's car and I am sure more. My daughter has desided to get back into the family by causing proublems with our sons now. I am just so tired of her manipulation and her posion in our family and the boys just don't see it!
I would love for someone to tell me what they would do? Confussed!

I don't think I understand. Was your father abused during the three years that he lived with your daughter? I feel like I'm only getting a part of the story. You have no siblings, so the care of your father fell to you, and for whatever reason, your daughter took that responsibility herself. Now, you seem to be in competition with her for your sons' affections. There doesn't seem to have been a whole lot of contact within the family, if your sons had not mentioned to you that Grandpa had passed over the course of over a year. Did your daughter keep that from them, or did your sons keep it from you? At any rate, what I would do is, I would be gracious and demonstrate personal integrity and kindness. I would let my adult sons figure out for themselves how to negotiate relationships with the strong women in their lives.
