Adultery - FamilyEducation

I find myself in a very odd position.

I am used to discussing everything with my parents. But recently I've come to suspect one of my parents is an adulterer.

I've reviewed some fairly incriminating emails, I've seen some (now deleted) incriminating photos, and I'm continuing to monitor emails that seem to indicate this is not an isolated incident. This is a persistent problem.

What do you guys recommend I do?

Tell both my parents? I'm pretty sure this dissolves their marriage.
Tell my sibling? My sibling would not keep quiet, this would be akin to the first option.
Tell my significant other? I think quite frankly my SO would be disgusted at my family and possibly me.

It's odd that for such a personal thing, I have to turn to complete (and hopefully sympathetic) strangers for advice.

As of now, I've resorted to keeping my mouth shut. Not sure if I will look back 10/20/30 years from now and see this as the right decision.

This is the type of incident that I realize happens millions of times daily around the world. When it hits this close to home, it just feels ... disgusting. Even harder to come to the grips with the fact that I'm the offspring of such disgusting people.

Thanks in advance for lending a sympathetic ear.

If one of your parents is acting out sexually, you need to do what you can to protect the other one from STDs. Encourage the use of condoms.
