Im new here and just wanted to say hi.  I've been reading some of the posts and have learned that Im not the only one with parenting issues, especially with my 14 year old son (going on 15)  ... the teen years sure can be difficult at times.   I  also have an 8 year old son, at least we have a little while before he becomes a teen... Im not sure I could handle two teenagers at the same time!

Hello Tedder!! Welcome!! I have one grown, one teen and one 8 year old... ALL BOYS!!

Hi tedder,
It's good to have you aboard! My sons are only 5 and 3 1/2, so I have a ways to go. From the sound of it, though, I'm not in a rush for the teen yrs to come. 8-) Looking forward to hearing from you again soon!

Hi Ted, I have a 15 1/2 son and he is wonderful. When he was little he was a real wimp. (may I say that about my own son?) I was worried but being his mom could not stop myself from feeling bad when he would get a scrape or fall. He would cry with such sadness not anger. I would tell him it is not that bad and he would ask me to help him. I always wondered if my son was going to be able to face the world with out me. My son is going on 16 years old and in the baseball team and a football team and since he started High School has sprained, broken and fractured I don't know how many bones and he still wants to play. He is very loving and does not give me any trouble with fights or teachers. He has a girlfriend and volunteers once a month in an orphanage; they take the kids out to the movies and play with them at the park or at the beach. Don't be afraid of the teen years. Boys are so loving when as they get older. Show your boys lots of love even if they are older and they will show it back. He is liked and gets along very well with everyone around him.
(My daughter is a totally different story..Stay tuned for:What ever happened to the little princess.)
