I love the name Helene (its French and is pronounce AY-Len) but I am afraid if its spelled that way people will pronounce it like Helen (HEL-IN), which, no offense, is not what I am looking for.

Can anyone think of a way to make the pronunciation clearer. Like: Ailen? Aylen? Ayllen?

Stick with the original spelling. Creative spellings tend to look childish and unappealing, at least in my opinion. I would pronounce 'Helene' heh-layne.

Good point. Thanks for your input.
