Jessica, aka the Sweet Pea Chef, is a former U.S. Senate staffer/weekend gourmet turned full-time mom/family gourmet. She lives in Columbus, Ohio with her husband and two sons.

Yesterday I shared a new favorite snack the boys have enjoyed eating this summer. The "Jell-O" oranges have been fun to eat, our recipe doesn't actually call for any Jell-O, but uses natural gelatin. If you have a box of Jell-O laying around your house, Whitney at Rookie-Cookie.com shares a fun, creative and easy way to use it that will have your kids almost as happy as eating Jell-O. Use your Jell-O to make Whitney's Playdough recipe: (photo courtesy of Rookie-Cookie.com) While you are there, check out Whitney's other wonderful recipes...she's a cook, but hardly a rookie! SPC
