Instant Poetry is a computer-based simulation of the popular magnetic poetry kits that have popped up on refrigerators across the U.S. This poetry kit gives you a variety of wordlists to compose from, including New York, jazz, kidspeak, noir, romance, haiku. (And who wouldn't want to write a New York-style poem about a bagel, or a jazzy verse about Charlie Parker?)

You can pick your font, and add suffixes and prefixes where you choose. If you want a hand with your poem, you can click on the random word generator and the computer will choose a word for you.

This is an incredibly speedy download, and the kit is very easy to operate. The program runs on Windows 3.1, NT 4.0 and 95/98.
