ADDed Reality
This site's motto is "Nobody can do everything... but everyone can do something." This site offers information on a variety of disorders, including Asberger Syndrome, Dysgraphia, Tourette Syndrome, Gifted and LD, as well as books, articles, technology links, and fun links for kids.

The Council for Exceptional Children (CEC)
Primarily for teachers, this site represents the efforts of CEC, an international organization which strives to improve the education of students with disabilities, gifted students, and people with exceptionalities. Resources include training and events, publications and products, and career connections. Professional advocacy is also available. The Foreign Language Teacher's Guide to Learning Disabilities
This simple, direct site, provides access to information on many LD topics, including assistive technology, college policies for LD students, government resources, legal information, and foreign language.

The International Dyslexia Association
The IDA works nationally and locally on issues such as legislation, research, early identification, education, and teacher training. The site provides information in the form of books, articles, a bulletin board, technology products, and a "Kids Only" area.

Learning Disabilities Association of America (LDA)
LDA is a national parent association offering advocacy, education, research, and service to improve the lives of individuals with LD and their families, and to learn the causes of LD. This site offers resources on a wide variety of disabilities.

LD Online
This "interactive guide to learning disabilities," provides information on every aspect of learning disabilities -- from personal essays to audio clips featuring LD experts. The "In Depth" section makes it easy to locate any topic.

LD Pride Online
An award-winning site that serves as a community resource for kids and adults with LD and ADD. Includes a download for the reading disabled that reads Web pages aloud, an interactive learning disability checklist, quizzes, articles, resources, and links. This accessible site was created by an "LD adult, not a professional."

LD Resources
This site is an up-to-date source of information on learning disabilities, providing access to organizations, schools, essays, e-text sites, books, and games.

National Center for Learning Disabilities, Inc.
This non-profit organization's information and referral service is the only nationwide resource clearinghouse committed to LD alone. The organization develops and supports education programs, conducts a public awareness program, and provides legislative advocacy. The site contains a great resource list for both children and adults with learning disabilities.

The National Information Center for Children and Youth with Disabilities (NICHCY)
A national information and referral center providing information on disabilities for families, educators, and other professionals. This site contains information on specific disabilities, early intervention, special education, family issues, education rights, organizations, and transition to adult life.

SchwabLearning.org
The staff of this non-profit foundation offers a customized roadmap to understanding the language and landscape of learning differences and disabilities. It's an online guide that parents may use in order to be effective advocates for their LD children.
